Today Perry and I went on a field trip with his class to the fire department and the police station. They got to see where the firefighters eat together, watch cartoons, excercise, and sleep. The captain had a Spiderman pillow and a Spongebob Blanket. All the kids thought that was very funny. They got to see the firepool and the lights that go off in their house when they get called out on an emergency!

Perry was so excited to put on a "firefighter costume!"
He even got to drive the truck!
Then we headed over to the Police Station. Our tour guide was very animated!
This sign is posted in the jail cell. Do they honestly think that their prisoners care?
We had a lot of fun! I was so glad that I got to go with my little buddy! I can't believe how big he is getting! He only has 3 more days of school and then he's finished his first year of school! They get big way to fast.
